8 Things You Should Do EVERYDAY

To Make you feel relaxed about your home.

  • Everyday:
    • Dishes- I keep my dishes organized in the sink, and on ONLY one side of the sink. It makes me feel really happy to see either a completely clean and cleared sink or with just a bit of dishes in one side of the sink.
    • Living Room: clear misc stuff from the coffee table and couches. Fold blankets and place them on the couches, and put pillows back in their spots.
    • Reset rooms: tidy up rooms that are most seen by guests (living room, kitchen, bathroom Just shut your bedroom doors if people come over- no one will be the wiser!
    • If you want: make your bed.
    Laundry Schedule:
I don’t really like doing laundry. Baskets of laundry will stay up against the wall in our bedroom until I run out of space in the baskets, I need them for other laundry and I need clothes to be in the closet.
    So I do this:

    • Day 1: Wash and dry a load.
    • Day 2: Fold and put away that load from Day 1
    • Day 3: Start a new load.
    • Day 4: Put that load away. ….And so on. Every other weekend I wash our bedding.
