Challenges about Budgeting and Grocery Shopping

Budgeting and grocery shopping is one of the best ways to trim down your monthly expenses and daily spending- but there are dozens of challenges out there- especially the advice that is ultimately unrealistic. Here is a list of budgeting and grocery shopping challenges and how you can make them realistic strategies to save on grocery shopping! Challenges about Budgeting and Grocery Shopping Challenge #1- Unrealistic Research I've spent a lot of time scouring Pinterest and have not felt entirely satisfied with the results. Some articles seem too unreasonable to be applicable. More often than not, it comes down to unrealistic costs of groceries . For example, I cannot find 1 gallon of milk at my local Walmart for $1. And our Dollar Tree out in Montana doesn't have a grocery section- we do have a freezer section, but it is only 2-3 doors of frozen dinners. And our bread and produce is not as cheap as the other articles. What I have done to get around this challeng

Down Home BBQ Pork Steaks

Country BBQ Pork Steaks are a perfect recipe for the crockpot or the grill. That is especially helpful for the hot summer weather too! This particular recipe is for the Crockpot so that you can prep it, "forget it", enjoy it! This recipe is provided by my good friend Amelia Gray.

Why Cook with Pork?

Before I share this delicious recipe with all of you, I would like to start off by explaining my favorite thing about cooking with pork. IT'S CHEAP! It is one of the cheapest cuts of meat that we can buy in order to keep our grocery costs down- especially when you buy it from somewhere like Costco. And you never even have to sacrifice flavor just because you bought a cheap meat. Pork and chicken, I have found, are the cheapest meat proteins you can buy, beef being the most expensive of all the basic meats to buy for affordable cooking. You can buy either a package of pork slices, or buy a pork loin and turn them into your own steaks. Rumor has it that after Thanksgiving Day, their pork loins go for like half the price! Get the biggest one you can grab, turk them into pork steaks and save it in the freezer!
